”We drove from Tulsa Oklahoma to the Winery great travel with awesome views of Oklahoma land.
We were received by Angie how show us the place and gave us a tour of the old building and all the great 🍷 🍷 Vino's. Let's not forget the hunted stories from the Old Winery building that at some point in history was a School (spooky).
You have to take the drive and check this place up. Great restaurant right next door and guess... They deliver at the winery! Next time with better weather we will try the Patio and 🍷🍷🍷
Thanks Angie”

”Me and my husband purchased a great deal off Groupon for this winery and we couldn’t be more happier that it brought us here! Overall we had a great experience, the wine was very delicious and the tour was interesting! We really, really enjoyed our visit here. Angie was the one who served us and she is AMAZING! I highly recommend this winery!”

”We truly enjoyed our visit- friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, tasty wine, fun gift shop, interesting historical facts, sunny patio with umbrellas and tables to enjoy your favorite bottle of wine after the wine tasting fun.
Angie made our wine tasting enjoyable and light hearted. She was filled with historical knowledge about the area.
Was not sure what to expect - and we had such a relaxed sit back and chill afternoon... so glad we came.
Looking forward to their upcoming events.”

”It was a nice scenic drive to this winery... The schoolhouse which makes up the winery is a nice part of history, which is a plus. The reception hall was lovely and would hold quite a few people for an event. The wine we tried was actually quite good, and they have a quaint gift shop.”

”Tidewater Winery is a local gem for Drumright. It is located in a beautiful setting with its own vineyard, in an historic building with a hundred year history. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and tours and tastings are available during their seasonal hours. The wines are labeled with beautiful images of local murals and range in tastes from very sweet (great for a picnic wine), to excellent dry reds (yum with chocolate or a steak from neighboring Joseph's) and whites (for sipping on the deck). Many of the wines are either made with or blended with the Tidewater vineyard grapes or other local varieties. Don't miss the 3rd Thursday events with Oklahoma Red Dirt musicians in an intimate jam session of acoustic wonder! This is a tourist attraction, but be careful, you may become a regular!”

”Tour & Tasting this past Saturday this place is amazing. One of the things that make wine tasting so much fun is all the info that comes with it. Where the grapes are from, the barrel program, recipes, the talk about styles of wine and the various notes you get on the front, middle and back end. As I live for stuff like that! Really Enjoyed learning about there wine labels and the city of Drumright. Tidewater is in a great historic old school building. The staff is great and lots of fun. Joseph's is next door and they deliver to the winery. We had some great appetizers and other people enjoyed lunch. Will visit again real s[o]on.”

”Under new ownership, now with 2 vineyards, this is an amazing place and this is the perfect time of year to visit! The historical building, on the National Registry of Historic Places, is an 8,000 square foot wing school built by the Rockefellers to accommodate the oil field children during Drumright's boomtown era. Free tastings, winery tours available, lots of history to explore...along with a couple of resident ghosts and Merly Merlot, the winery's live-in African Grey Parrot :)
Truly, this is an amazing destination place, day trip, afternoon visit, attend an event such as 3rd Thursdays magical music night or Partners in Paint Parties, Mystery Dinners, private meetings, weddings and receptions, etc. Expanded retail too :) PLUS enjoy world famous amazing food from Joseph's Fine Foods there on the deck or at catered events. Wine is of the highest quality and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Do Not Miss It!”

”During Drumright’s oil boom in the 1920s, oil baron John D. Rockefeller built the 8,000-square-foot school, known as Tidal School, to help the growing community. It was later acquired by J. Paul Getty and today is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. That alone makes it worth the trip, but the former schoolhouse has now been converted into a winery called Tidal School Vineyards which puts this place on the must-see list. We are most certainly not connoisseurs of fine wine, but do occasionally enjoy some of the sweeter desert wines. We sampled several that we enjoyed greatly, which incidentally are all made from locally grown grapes. The staff was friendly and informative and treated us like long lost friends, giving us a private tour of the historical landmark. Make the drive, you will not be disappointed.”

”The Tidewater Winery is located in a historic school building. The building alone is worth the trip to Drumright. However, their wines are excellent, so a wine tasting is highly recommended!”

”What a great venue for such an awesome, intimate show with Zac. The acoustics are great, the room holds maybe 50 people and the staff is PHENOMENAL !
I surprised my wife for our anniversary and after a quick phone call with the manager Sheryl, we had front row seats waiting on us, with our names on them. She greeted us like we were old friends when we walked in. She is a real gem !! We can't wait for the next event to be held there.
We loaded up on a few bottles of wine that they bottle in the basement, had some homemade cookies and took home some Tidewater t-shirts.
Great place. Great people. Great show !!
WE WILL BE BACK”

”We went for the first annual wine and cruise in. Although they were short on cruise in cars we still had fun. Hopefully they will advertise more and possibly have a local car club or business sponsor the event next year. I found a groupon so we had a wine tasting for two, two wine glasses, and a $20 credit for their gift shop plus a tour of the building. Very reasonable and the wines were all very good and presented well. I bought two bottles of wine to take home. We also bought pecan praline cookies and white chocolate pecans and both products were very good. We enjoyed music in their event room with Mike Music and the Traveling Kind. We both would recommend it and will keep in mind their Jimmy Buffet night and their Louisiana shrimp boil events.”

”I was completely fascinated by the fact this was a school back in the 20's-40's! It was a fun tour and I loved the pictures of past school children. The wine was pretty good, but the samples were so tiny we could hardly tell what they tasted like. We go to lots of different wineries around the country. These tastings were the smallest we'd ever seen. My advice to the owner would be: make the tastings a bit bigger and people might realize you have some good wine and buy a few bottles!”

Wonderful staff that are friendly and helpful. Many boutique style items to choose from to decorate your life or gifts for people in your life. Tidewater is a beauty to take in, a must visit destination!”

”I LOVE this little gem! My husband and I were looking for a rehearsal dinner venue near Bristow, OK. We went to the winery with little hope that they would have availability with such short notice (especially because our wedding was around Christmas-time) and low and behold, the date we needed was available! We booked it right then, and I am so thankful that we did! Cheryl was so accommodating and friendly, seriously, I loved her so much, I just want to be her best friend! [...]When the day of our rehearsal came, she let us come hours before the event to set up (if you’re in the wedding/event industry, or have ever hosted an event, you know that typically additional set up time cost extra) and was so wonderful to us! She let us use any of the items that she had available from previous events, which added such cute details to our dinner! She helped us move around tables and was just so helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend Tidewater for any and all events, I wish we had had our wedding here simply because of the kindness and hospitality that we received!
On another note: the wine is TO DIE FOR. I love white wine, I have tried countless numbers of moscato and other sweet whites, and Tidewater’s takes the cake. I even enjoyed their reds and I am not a red fan at all! Above all, their wine-a-Rita’s are the best things since sliced bread! I could drink them all day without any worries! I haven’t tried the make at home mix, but I love to get their wines whenever I get the chance!”

”My best friend and I had a great girls afternoon here. The history of the building is so interesting, and I love that it is still mostly in its original form. The wine tasting was great, and we had a fun time thanks to Brian! I would definitely recommend friends in the future to do the tour/ tasting, and will for sure be back myself! We are already talking of attending some of the events you all host.”

”Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Brian was a great host! Loved hearing the history, seeing the photos, tasting the wines, seeing how it's made, and finding out about all the great events that occur here throughout the year.

”Why drive 25-45 miles just to have a fun weekend evening? Seems each weekend the Tidewater Winery has some fun events. The wife and I went to "Totally Rad 80's Prom Gone Bad" murder mystery. Both nights were SOLD OUT but we were lucky. Interacted with people we never knew and had a blast and now have new friends!”

”This might be the best destination winery in Oklahoma. We had been to the site about ten years ago. Although owners have changed (maybe a couple of times since then), the building is much like we remember.
The history of the building is amazing and definitely wander down the hallway to look at the vintage photographs. Also, make sure you take in the stage area (the former cafeteria of the school). You most likely will be taken on a guided tour to see the basement/bottling area along with a great history lesson. There's a great deck area overlooking some of the vineyard.
The wine tastings are small pours here, but that's OK. Buy a glass to hang out and continue to talk to whomever is behind the bar. We were treated to lots of stories (especially about the labels) by the media manager. We had a great tour as well, including stories of the two resident ghosts.
If I lived in Drumright, I would probably book every birthday, anniversary or other party at this venue. I might also be found there on certain afternoons enjoying a glass and a story (and possibly ghost hunting). Make this a stop!”

”I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time because it's in a cool old schoolhouse. The lady behind the counter we super nice and let us each taste several wines for free. If you want to try them all, it's only $5. They have a lot of cute stuff in their gift shop, a nice event room, and a lovely patio overlooking the vines. Awesome place. Worth driving out of the way.”

”We are from California and have been to "Wine Country" in Napa and Temecula dozens of times. This by far was one of the best wine experiences ever, mostly because of Cheryl (I think that was her name, lol!) she was great and so much fun. The history was great and she gave an amazing tour. We will definitely be back next time we're back here in Oklahoma!!”
